My Honest Review of Booking.com

In the past several years, more and more booking, planning, and vacation oriented websites are popping up throughout the web. Booking.com, however, has been around the block a bit. Started in 1996 and owned by The Priceline Group, Booking.com has become a top leader in the hotel, rental car, and flight world. I’ll keep this short and sweet, so you can hopefully takeaway some value regarding their site.

Overview

When you land on Booking.com, you’ll notice right away a large number of options at the top menu. You can book a hotel, reserve a rental car, check out flights, and several other options like searching train tickets. Pretty cool. I can’t remember exactly how many times I’ve utilized Booking.com’s services, but it’s been a lot. I would say at least 2 or 3 dozen time over the past few years, for both work and pleasure purposes.

Another cool feature is their Travel Guides information. Put in a place you are interested in visiting, such as New York, Chicago, or many others, and you’ll get a plethora of places to see, when to visit, best times to visit, and much more information on that particular destination. It helps take some of the guesswork out of figuring out your next vacation spot, that’s for sure.

Booking.com also offers a business account for 100 travelers or more. This can make managing travel for your company so much easier.  You can also add customized budgets and track your company’s spending  with detailed, downloadable reports based on department, team, and traveler, and connect your travelers and travel managers – so everyone at your company can use saved destinations and budgets to find the perfect places to stay from Booking.com’s properties around the world. The best part is it’s totally FREE.
